The Google Tensor is a mobile processor that was launched in October 2021 and announced by the device maker of several smartphone brands. This chip features Two 2.8GHz Cortex x1 Two 2.25GHz Cortex A76 Four 1.8GHz Cortex A55 cores. The SoC is designed in-house by Google and manufactured by Samsung using a 5 nm process technology. The Tensor integrates the Google designed TPU GPU running at 848 MHz and supports 12GB of LPDDR5 memory. It can be configured with the company’s Google 5G modem, offering peak download speeds of up to 200 Mbps.
