The Mediatek MT8735 is a mobile processor that was launched in October 2014 and announced by the device maker of several smartphone brands. This chip features Four 1.3GHz Cortex A53 cores. The SoC is designed in-house by Mediatek and manufactured by TSMC using a 28 nm process technology. The MT8735 integrates the Mali T720 MP2 GPU running at 500 MHz and supports 3GB of memory. It can be configured with the company’s Mediatek modem, offering peak download speeds of up to 50 Mbps.
