The Mediatek MT8788 is a mobile processor that was launched in July 2020 and announced by the device maker of several smartphone brands. This chip features Four 2GHz Cortex A73 Four 2GHz Cortex A53 cores. The SoC is designed in-house by Mediatek and manufactured by TSMC using a 12 nm process technology. The MT8788 integrates the Mali G76 MP4 GPU running at 800 MHz and supports 8GB of memory. It can be configured with the company’s Mediatek modem, offering peak download speeds of up to 100 Mbps.
